Scanpack 2009 could not have ended better. There was a positive atmosphere on the show with no sign or trace of the financial crisis. For this we thank all the people who visitied us.
Allthough we had a smaller stand and chose just to present one machine, the interest and the pressure on the stand was much greater than expected.
The digital printing machine, JETRION 4000 UV INKJET made with other words a great success during it's debut on Scanpack.

The Braillemaker One has gone through a technical revision in combination with a huge software upgrade.
The new machine offer full servo drive on all spindles and a choice of 150 mm or 335 mm web width from the same basic machine. I.e it is upgradeable when the customer increases their production needs.

The new software comes from HHS and is based from their technology platform Xtend2. The new software gives the possibility to download jobs from a server, memory stick or the operator creates the job directly on the large 15” touch display. The graphic layout makes the programming and the interface very easy to understand and follow. The new software also allows different Braille languages. This tool makes life much easier where Braille need to be exported to different countries.
A co-operation with Sensus (.dk) allows verified text files to be uploaded in a very easy way – the file is also tamper proof. An important factor for pharma producers.
The open frame structure allows different options for slitting, tabbing, inspection and UV-curing.
The machine at Labelexpo 2009 (and Scanpack) will be producing 2 lanes of labels with 2 text lines of Braille at 35 m/min.
